End User License Agreement
Last updated: July 2, 2026
This agreement licenses the Tax Doc AI software to you. It is accepted at sign-up, together with the Terms & Conditions. If you do not accept it, do not use the software.
1. License
We grant your firm a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Tax Doc AI software for its internal business during an active subscription. The software is licensed, not sold.
2. Restrictions
- No copying, modifying, or creating derivative works.
- No reverse engineering or decompiling, except where law permits.
- No renting, reselling, or sublicensing access.
- No removing proprietary notices.
- No use to build a competing product.
3. Ownership
We retain all right, title, and interest in the software, including all intellectual property. This agreement grants use, not ownership.
4. Third-party services
The software works with services your firm connects: Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and Stripe for billing. Those services have their own terms. We are not responsible for them.
5. Updates
The software is delivered as a hosted service and updates automatically. Updates may add, change, or remove features. This agreement covers every version we make available.
6. Warranty disclaimer
The software is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Automated extraction can produce errors; verify outputs before relying on them.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability under this agreement is limited to the fees paid for the software in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
8. Termination
This license ends when your subscription ends or when you breach this agreement. On termination, stop using the software. Sections 3, 6, 7, and 9 survive termination.
9. General
This agreement and the Terms & Conditions are the entire agreement for the software. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Questions go through Help & support.
